Jamie Foxx, 47, has another new film in the making. The Oscar-winning actor and singer has been tapped for the leading role in ‘Sleepless Night,’ a remake of the 2011 French version, which was originally titled, ‘Nuit blanche.’
Foxx will star alongside ‘Source Code’ actress Michelle Monaghan, 38, in the crime thriller, which follows an underworld cop (Foxx), who has to save his family after double-crossing his criminal colleagues.
The film will be helmed by Swiss director Baran bo Odar.
This is one of many films Foxx has in the works. He will appear in ‘The Trap’ and ‘Mean Business On North Ganson Street,’ and he has been tapped for an upcoming Mike Tyson biopic.
Foxx released the “Party Ain’t a Party” and “Ain’t My Fault,” but it’s currently unclear if he will be dropping a musical project anytime soon, especially with his compact film schedule.
