Usain Bolt Brings Jamaica To Russia Ahead of IAAF World Championships

The biggest track and field event of the year kicks off in Moscow next week and Usain Bolt was in town to let Russia know exactly what they can expect from the coolest, most awesome athlete in all of the world this weekend, with a Russian dancehall and reggae act Steppa Style and local reggae band The Stereodrop as he and his partners at PUMA brought the Caribbean to mother Russia.

The planet’s fastest man also experienced what Russia had to offer by soaking up some of the local culture as he witnessed a parkour contest between the local free runners who regularly meet at the PUMA Social Club in Gorky Park.

Oh his pre-championships Russian experience, Bolt offered “I got a wonderful reception today from the Russian fans here at Gorky Park, it was really nice to see the support I have in Moscow. PUMA like to bring a taste of Jamaica to wherever I go, and give local people an experience of the food, music and culture that comes from our small island.”

Usain continues the final stages of training before the IAAF World Championships this week.
